Nurses Excited on the upcoming release of NLE 2011 result

It has become a yearly tradition for the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to release the different examination results for Pinoy board exams. This year, 2011, the most awaited test has taken place and it will be for the nurses to see next year if they passed and will have their names posted in the list of the recent NLE December 2011 result passers.

Relatives are also all excited and it has been a yearly feat for many who have their nurses in the family take the exam and eventually, for them to see if they passed. A couple of years ago, the official PRC website went down but this year, as the release of the 2012 results happen, people are optimistic that there will be no delays in the release of the official list of new registered nurses in the Philippines (Pinoy RNs). Good luck, nurses!!!

Will Pacquiao Marquez 3 fight be another Donaire vs Narvaez

Well, if you ask me regarding the title of this post, I would like to reiterate that I certainly doubt that the upcoming Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight will become another Donaire vs Narvaez match. Why? simply because I know that this fight to which we all know is the 3rd installment for these two fighters had a record of entertaining the boxing fans all over the world.

First off, Marquez is know to slug it out toe to toe with all his boxing opponents and Manny Pacquiao is neither the type who would back out and dance without a music just like what the proud Mayweather does. Certainly, this third installment will give us all a great time. There could be an early knockout I could predict from round 1 up to the 5th.

Reputation has it, Marquez will not give in easily to Pacquiao and he desperately want's to prove his skills and fans so he will surely give Manny a hard time although undoubtedly, Manny had the skills to defeat Marquez easily. Let us see come November 13, 2011 here in the Philippines who will take it to a notch higher his skills and earnings in boxing. Will it be Manny or will will it be Marquez? Well, one thing is for sure, this fight will never be another Donaire vs Narvaez match. Marquez will never run and so will Manny so expect a hard knockout either which will go down probably in the first 5 rounds.

Just the other day according to the news in TV Patrol ABS-CBN channel 2 that Juan Manuel Marquez arrived in the Philippines. I guess it's part of the contract to have him visit and promote his upcoming fight, the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 live stream fight this coming November 2011 or just before the end of the year.

The Philippine Heart Center a couple of days ago just admitted Maguindanao Massacre suspect, Zaldy Ampatuan. According to reports it is because of high blood pressure which read at 165/120. I also heard Anthony Taberna got interviewed as to who will be paying the hospital bills of Zaldy Ampatuan because it is said in the news that he was admitted to an exclusive suite room which means that it is expensive.

Anthony Taberna replied that no one, not even the authorities or the personal lawyer of the Ampatuan could confirm nor deny who will be paying the said hospital bills. Early on yesterday, he was ordered to get back to jail for reasons that the court only allowed a check up on him but updates to this issue is not yet confirmed to date, July 22, 2011.

The SSS Unified ID, ready for sending to SSS members and Pinoy users

The first batch of 5,000 single identification (ID) cards that will help holders facilitate transactions among four government agencies included in the unified system will be released by mail within this month.

Social Security Systems (SSS) president and CEO Emilio de Quiroz Jr. said that the Unified Multipurpose Identification System (UMID) will also protect the members and the four concerned government agencies from fraud.

Aside from the SSS, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS). and the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-Ibig) are part of the unified system.

De Quiroz said that the UMID is a single format and one look card for all transactions of the SSS, GSIS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig where each member is given a lifetime common reference number (CRN) that will enable the individual to use in conducting business with the mentioned agencies.

However, de Quiroz said that UMID should not be mistaken for the proposed national ID system since this is not mandatory and involves only the four government agencies as of the present.

He stressed that the UMID is an inter-agency effort that will provide reliability and convenience in government transactions.

The SSS hopes to distribute UMID cars to 25-million members in five years as the first batch of 5,000 cards presented before the media will be up for scrutiny and quality checking and will eventually be distributed by mail within two weeks.

De Quiroz said that his office will give priority to members with no SSS cards and will be given for free, clarifying that the agency will be charging P300 for each of the lost UMID cards.

With the current production of 5,000 UMID cards per day, De Quiroz noted that he hopes to produce 20,000 UMID cards daily in the near future to meet the 607,000-card backlog of the SSS.

He noted that the UMID is equipped with a card reader for each of the concerned agencies that will aid its member-users in their dealings.

Another aim of the SSS, De Quiroz said is for the members to obtain their loans and other benefits using the UMID cards avoiding long queues and anxious moments of waiting during transactions.

As part of moving forward, De Quiroz is also entertaining possibility of other government agencies joining the UMID system with the card also to be used for post-paid transactions within the year.

He noted that the UMID card system also cuts on government financial costs as the concerned government agencies share in the expenditures of producing the UMID card.

New SSS Universal ID

It was reported in the news last night that the Social Security System in the Philippines is finally going to issue their new SSS universal ID. After more than 2 years that the SSS haven't issued IDs to their members application, the government agency is now ready to issue the new ID that will also include possible uses to GSIS, PhilHealth and Pag-Ibig.

At least this is what the news said last night in TV Patrol News.
